This application offers guardians within the Oslo school system a streamlined means of communication with their children's teachers. Launched at the start of the 2022 school year, the updated version of Skolemelding introduces enhanced functionality and a modern design.

With this app, users can:

• Receive and respond to messages from your child's school
• Send messages to your children's teachers
• Report absences
• Hide messages from the home screen
• Mark messages as favorites
• Maintain an overview of all messages for your children
• Receive notifications for new messages from the school
• Utilize dark mode for improved visibility

The login process is straightforward; first-time users log in via MinID followed by a user-selected four-digit PIN code. The app supports both PIN and biometric login options.

The app will request the following permissions:

• Notifications (to receive push notifications)

Please note that only guardians within the Oslo school system are eligible to use this application, which is integrated into the messaging tools of School Platform Oslo.
